RESEARCH FUNDING DEADLINE APPROACHES

Due to the generosity of international sales leader Neil Rackham, the USEF will distribute $15,000 in grant funding to academic sales researchers. Applications are due by December 1, 2010, and funding is available in three categories: dissemination to industry, innovation and relevance to current sales industry issues. Led by Dr. Rosann Spiro, the USEF has established a committee to review the applications, and recipients will be announced following committee review and selection. Apply today!

GIVING THANKS

In 2010, USEF increased direct support to students, faculty and programs through scholarships, grants career development and internships opportunities. Gifts from companies and individuals made it possible for direct benefits to be provided to individuals and programs. Neil Rackham, Howard and Sally Stevens, Andy Zoltners, Personified, Richardson, Tom James, and Wall Street Journal are only some of the supporters we must thank for their support of sales education over the last year.  To provide your own support for USEF, please either visit http://saleseducationfoundation.org/index.html and select Sponsorship Opportunities or contact Jeanne Frawley at jeannefrawley@saleseducationfoundation.org.

2010 University cover2011 TOP UNIVERSITY SALES PROGRAMS MAGAZINE

We have begun collecting information on the 2011 edition of Top University Sales Programs Magazine. Up-to-date information has been requested from all our participating universities. Also, we are asking sales programs to keep the USEF on their mailing lists so we can stay connected. If you have not received a call or email from the USEF, please get in touch with either chrisrange@saleseducationfoundation.org or martyholmes@saleseducationfoundation.org.

LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT

In recognition of their contributions to sales education, Neil Rackham and Andy Zoltners were presented with the first USEF Lifetime Achievement Awards. USEF thanks them for their dedication and devotion to sales education and the sales industry. Awards were presented the evening prior to the USEF Executive Briefing in September where Neil, Andy, Howard Stevens and Mary Delaney addressed customer loyalty issues and sales lifestyle research findings. DVD copies of the executive briefing will be made available in December.
